Welcome to BISD Fine Arts Department Visual Arts. We are delighted to showcase student achievement for 2014-2015. Visual arts program offers the student a balanced art curriculum based on Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and national stardards; No Child Left Behind (NCLB.) Students learn art appreciation through art history, dialogue,  vairety of two and three-dimensional art projects that provide well rounded  experiences. Students compete in district, regional, state, national and international contests that build real world artistic skill and experience. Visual arts support core areas, gifted and talented, advanced placement and dual enrollment. Teachers challancge all students to create origianl self expressions and aesthetically pleasing artworks.
